The photographs in this gallery are all of moths found in my garden. Most of them have been caught in a moth trap at night, photographed and released. There will be odd ones that have been found under natural conditions in daylight hours.
Needless to say the trap does not harm the moths and after photographing they are released in a safe place to continue their life cycle.
As well as a photographic record it also lets me know how many and what species are visiting my garden.

Hi Roger. An impressive start to your moth collection. Making me wonder if I should have a go!
